Shahyar Gorjy – Director

Shahyar has a wealth of experience in large scale construction and development projects. His career path began in the field of Facilities Engineering, working in various roles in mining and gas including design and contract administration, leading up to substantial construction management and multi-disciplinary staff and trades supervision. Following over 16 years in this industry, he moved into residential construction, establishing Yaran Pty Ltd in 1996 in partnership with his brother Faryar. Since then, Yaran Property Group has been at the forefront of delivering quality residential developments which maximise returns to investors.  Shahyar has completed his Civil Engineering Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma of Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Outside of work, Shahyar enjoys his time with close family.

Faryar Gorjy - Director

Faryar brings 30 years of experience in residential property investment and development since he purchased his first rental property in the early 1980’s.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Curtin University, Faryar commenced a 20 year career in the oil and gas industry working in various technical and managerial positions.  During this period Faryar accumulated a portfolio of WA residential rental properties and started developing some of the properties, forming Yaran Property Group with his brother Shahyar Gorjy, in 1996.

When not working, Faryar likes spending time with his wife and 3 sons.
