FARYAR GORJY

Director

Faryar is the Co-founder and Director of Yaran Property Group and PT Yaran Bali Indonesia. 

Born in Iran, he migrated to Australia with his family more than 50 years ago. After graduating as a Civil Engineer, Faryar spent approximately two decades in the oil and gas industry before co-founding Yaran with his brother in 1996. 

Faryar is deeply passionate about Yaran’s mission “to be a blessing to others through housing that is affordable, fit-for-purpose, and environmentally conscious.” This mission remains at the very heart of everything Yaran does. 

In recent years, Faryar established Yaran’s Bali operations to support individuals seeking to purchase property in Bali, particularly those planning their retirement.

He is also in the process of establishing Yaran Philanthropy in Bali, with the vision of being a blessing to the people of Bali and, more broadly, throughout Indonesia. 

Outside of his professional work, Faryar is committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. His interests include going to the gym, long walks, church involvement, and learning the Indonesian language. 

MARCO BUONAIUTO

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Marco has been part of Yaran Property Group since 2010 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer. Over more than a decade with the business, he has been directly involved across development feasibility, acquisitions, delivery, sales strategy, and portfolio performance, contributing to the Group’s evolution into a disciplined, residential-focused property developer operating across Western Australia.

During his tenure, Marco has led the execution of multiple development projects from site acquisition through to completion, strengthened internal systems and governance, and worked closely with the founder and senior leadership to improve capital efficiency, risk management, and operational clarity. His experience spans the full property lifecycle, with a practical, numbers-driven approach grounded in long-term value creation rather than short-term volume.

Marco’s leadership style is defined by structure, accountability, and alignment. He is focused on building a high-performance organisation that preserves the founder’s vision while positioning Yaran for its next phase of sustainable growth, underpinned by disciplined development strategy, strong stakeholder relationships, and repeatable execution.

LUKE POTTHOFF

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Luke is the Chief Operations Officer at Yaran Property Group, overseeing operational performance across the company’s residential development portfolio. With more than a decade at Yaran, he has been pivotal in shaping the systems and delivery frameworks that drive projects from planning to completion.

A mechanical engineer by training, Luke brings a highly analytical, systems-driven approach to streamlining workflows, strengthening internal coordination and supporting scalable growth. Known for his calm, practical leadership, he works closely with teams to enhance capability, structure and strategic planning across the organisation.

Luke’s long tenure has given him deep insight into Yaran’s mission and culture, and he remains focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University and has represented Croatia in the T20 World Cup qualifiers, reflecting his discipline and strong teamwork both professionally and beyond the workplace.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Curtis is an accomplished finance executive with demonstrated expertise in corporate financial leadership and strategic planning. As Chief Financial Officer at Yaran Property Group, Curtis plays a central role in driving financial performance, enhancing reporting frameworks, and supporting the company’s growth in the competitive property development sector. 

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Property Development and Valuations from Curtin University, where he built a strong foundation in finance, property markets, and valuation methodologies. 

A former emplyee at Westpac, Curtis combines analytical precision with practical business insight, enabling him to partner effectively with operational teams and executive leadership to deliver sustainable financial outcomes. He is passionate about leveraging financial strategy to support organisational goals and create long-term stakeholder value.

JENNIFER CAMERON

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Jennifer is a senior strategic marketing and stakeholder relations professional with more than ten years’ experience across property, funds management and real-asset investment platforms. She specialises in positioning complex investment propositions, building credible brands and supporting capital raising through clear, disciplined stakeholder communication.

Jennifer has held senior leadership roles within property-backed investment businesses, including Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Packhorse Investments, where she worked alongside founders and executive teams to establish the brand and investor platform from inception. During this period, she supported capital raising strategies exceeding $100M, institutional engagement and ongoing investor communications. 

Jennifer holds an Honours degree from King’s College London and executive education through Henley Business School, and is recognised for translating strategy into execution and building trusted investor relationships that support long-term value creation. 

FERNANDO MALDONALDO

EXECUTIVE LIAISON

Fernando is the Executive Liaison at Yaran Property Group, supporting the organisation’s leadership team across communication, documentation, and project coordination. He works closely with Yaran’s development, sales, legal, and external consultant partners to ensure information flows clearly and processes run smoothly throughout the lifecycle of each project. His role bridges teams, helping maintain consistency, efficiency, and alignment across multiple stakeholders. 

Originally from Chile, Fernando brings over six years of international experience in legal, trade, and commercial environments. Before joining Yaran, he worked across Latin America advising exporters and supporting cross-border operations. This background allows him to combine technical knowledge with a practical and people-focused approach, contributing to Yaran’s collaborative culture and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. 

Known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to build strong working relationships, Fernando plays an important role in supporting communication and operational delivery across the business. Outside of work, he enjoys music, travel, and discovering Perth’s growing café scene. 

SAM JOSEPH

PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER

Sam is the Project Finance Manager at Yaran Property Group, responsible for structuring and managing development funding and leading investor and financier relationships across the project lifecycle.

Over the past four years, Sam has overseen more than $85 million in equity and over $90 million in debt financing from major banks and non-bank lenders, supporting the delivery of 390+ residential homes. He plays a central role in coordinating capital partners, maintaining strong ongoing relationships, and ensuring funding structures align with each project’s delivery and risk profile.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, with a double major in Property and Finance, and brings a disciplined, commercially focused approach to supporting Yaran’s development pipeline and long-term growth strategy.

NADAV STRUM

SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Nadav is Senior Development Manager at Yaran Property Group, leading the company’s development management and land acquisition operations from project inception through to completion. He is responsible for driving strong commercial outcomes, securing new development opportunities and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, to a high standard and in line with Yaran’s strategic objectives.

Nadav brings a diverse background to his role, having previously worked as a subcontractor on large-scale construction projects in Melbourne. He joined Yaran as a Business Development Manager before transitioning into property development, progressing into his current senior leadership role. This pathway has given him a well-rounded understanding of both construction delivery and development strategy.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property & Finance) and is recognised for his strengths in team leadership, strategic problem-solving and accountability for outcomes. Nadav is committed to delivering high-quality, commercially successful developments that create a meaningful and lasting impact on communities.

JAYDEN FULLER

LAND ACQUISITIONS MANAGER

Jayden is a key member of Yaran Property Group’s development team, specialising in identifying and securing residential development opportunities across Western Australia. He plays a central role in guiding sites from early assessment through to contract execution, with a strong focus on thorough due diligence, feasibility analysis and disciplined acquisition processes.

With experience sourcing opportunities across the Perth metropolitan area, Jayden is a results-driven property professional committed to supporting sustainable, community-focused housing outcomes. His analytical approach and strong market insight allow him to assess development potential with clarity, while his negotiation skills help deliver outcomes aligned with Yaran’s long-term strategic objectives.

Jayden holds a Bachelor of Land and Property Management and brings strengths across site sourcing, acquisition strategy, feasibility assessment and market research. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, exploring new places and spending time with friends.

ZACK MANNING

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Zack is a Development Manager at Yaran Property Group, overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion to ensure they align with the company’s strategic, financial and community objectives. He works closely with consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of carefully considered developments that support Yaran’s long-term mission.

Zack joined Yaran in his final year of university, bringing a strong academic foundation in finance and property alongside a commercially grounded mindset. Since then, he has contributed to the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects, including apartment developments, land subdivisions and specialist disability accommodation, applying disciplined analysis and clear communication at every stage of the process.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction (Finance and Property) and is recognised for his analytical capability, leadership and ability to coordinate teams and stakeholders effectively. Driven by curiosity and people, Zack continually seeks to expand his knowledge and build meaningful professional relationships.

CURTIS COX

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Curtis is a Development Manager at Yaran Property Group, overseeing projects from acquisition through to completion and ensuring feasibility, approvals, stakeholder engagement, budgets and timelines are effectively managed. He works closely with consultants and contractors to coordinate the delivery of projects that align with Yaran’s strategic and community-focused objectives.

Since joining Yaran in 2022, Curtis has focused on the end-to-end delivery of medium-density and specialist disability accommodation (SDA) and affordable housing projects across Western Australia. His experience spans early feasibility and development approvals through to procurement and construction, applying a disciplined and practical approach to project execution.

Curtis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Development & Valuation) from Curtin University and is recognised for his strengths in project delivery, approvals and compliance management, and team coordination. He is committed to delivering high-quality developments that create lasting value for communities.

LISA LOKE

SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

As Sales & Marketing Manager at Yaran Property Group, Lisa leads the company’s residential sales function across its development portfolio. She oversees sales strategy, agent engagement and buyer relationships, driving performance through strong market insight, disciplined execution and a consistently client-focused approach.

Lisa is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in Western Australian residential sales and international project marketing. Her background spans established housing, off-the-plan developments and global buyer networks, where she has built a reputation for combining commercial acumen with cultural and emotional intelligence.

With a background in Business and Property, and previous experience as a Channel Sales Manager in International Project Marketing, Lisa brings deep local market expertise and a strong commitment to integrity and transparency. She is driven by helping people make confident property decisions through trust, clarity and care.

CAIO DE ARAUJO

NDIS Business Development Manager

Caio is the Head of Yaran NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) at Yaran Property Group, where he leads the company’s efforts in the management of  tailored housing solutions for NDIS participants across Western Australia.

In this role, Caio oversees strategic planning and delivery of SDA projects, working with Specialist Independent Living providers, Support Providers and participants and their families, to provide high-quality, accessible homes that support independent living and improved quality of life.

With a focus on connecting people with fit-for-purpose accommodation, Caio’s work emphasises personalised support, strong stakeholder engagement and outcomes that align with Yaran’s mission to provide housing that is both affordable and purpose-driven. 

Caio is recognised for his commitment to inclusive housing and community impact, combining operational oversight with a deep understanding of the needs of NDIS participants and their families. He continually seeks to enhance service delivery and expand capacity within Yaran’s NDIS portfolio. 

VIKRAM BIALA

SUITES BUSINESS MANAGER

Vikram is Head of Yaran Suites, leading the group’s short-stay accommodation operations with a focus on maximising occupancy, revenue performance and guest satisfaction. As a strategic business leader, he drives overall business growth and operational efficiency, ensuring Yaran Suites delivers high-quality experiences aligned with purpose and impact.

Vikram brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across hospitality and tourism, with a strong background in business operations, marketing and strategic change. He is recognised for building high-performing teams, embedding effective processes and delivering transformative outcomes that support sustainable growth.

He has completed the Advanced Development Leadership Programme and Leadership Fundamentals, as well as an Operations and Management Course, through the Australian Institute of Management (WA). Vikram’s strengths span operations management, marketing and sales, change management, process development and customer service. He is driven by a passion for delivering growth through service and meaningful impact.

KAHENNA CANINA

STRATA MANAGER

Kahenna leads Strata Management at Yaran Property Group, leading the delivery of strata services with a focus on clear communication, strong governance and proactive support for owners and councils. She oversees the day-to-day management of strata schemes, ensuring effective coordination across compliance, meetings, maintenance and stakeholder engagement.

Kahenna brings more than four years of professional experience across retail and customer-facing environments, where she developed strong client service capability and a clear understanding of aligning customer needs with business objectives. She is recognised for her ability to manage competing priorities, apply sound administrative judgement, and support operational outcomes while maintaining a high standard of service.

She holds a Bachelor in Law and Society from The University of Western Australia and brings strengths across strata operations, customer service, sales, administration, and leadership. Kahenna is skilled in Microsoft Office and process management, and is driven by delivering dependable, well-managed strata outcomes that support both community expectations and organisational performance.

LUTFUN NAHER

SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER

Lutfun is a highly respected real estate professional with extensive leadership experience in property management. As Senior Property Manager at Yaran Realty, she oversees complex portfolios, leads and mentors property management teams, and ensures the highest standards of compliance, service delivery, and client care.

With a Master of Business Administration from Edith Cowan University and more than a decade of industry experience, Lutfun brings strong commercial insight, operational discipline, and people-focused leadership to her role. Since commencing her real estate career in 2007, she has built a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and consistently delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Her background in business, combined with formal real estate qualifications, underpins a thoughtful and structured approach to property management, driven by integrity, accountability, and long-term value creation.
