Yaran Property Group has been selected by the Cook Labor Government to lead a major new residential precinct in Wellard, acquiring four strategic development sites directly opposite Wellard Station. The project will deliver 111 new apartments across four medium-density buildings, strengthening Yaran’s role as a key provider of affordable, well-located housing in Perth’s southern corridor.

 

The 10,793sqm landholding, sold for $6.7 million, will be transformed into a mix of one-bed, one-bath and two-bed, two-bath apartments designed to maximise walkability, transport access and everyday convenience. Construction is targeted to begin in early 2026.

 

A complementary childcare centre will be developed by JCP Developments, further enhancing the town centre’s amenity and supporting the needs of local families.
